Day 304

Thoughts: There is an old saying in Japan where rather than asking ‘how are you?’ – they ask: Have you half-eaten today?

Such a beautiful reflection of the truth…

If you eat too little you are hungry and distracted.

Eat too much and you are lazy and tired!

Just enough and you are ‘very well thankyou’.

Quotes: What is difficult in the beginning is easy in the end.

What I Ate Today:

Meal 1: A beetroot (beet), carrot, celery and ginger juice. A nectarine.

Meal 2: A grapefruit and orange juice after physical activity! mmm the best!

Meal 3: Some sweet sweet green grapes.

Meal 4: Raw Zucchini Pasta Pesto! (If you love pasta like me, but don't want to eat the carbs, chemicals, sugars and additives that is in store bought pasta try zucchini pasta - a great alternative!) Created with zucchini, olive oil, himalayan salt, black peppercorns, basil, garlic and lemon :)

Recipe thanks to Cilla.

Meal 5: Spanish Rice and Beans with avocado :) Created with Red Kidney Beans, Onion, Garlic, Celery, Olive Oil, Paprika, Coriander (cilantro) and avocado.

Recipe: The recipe for Raw Zuchinni Pasta Pesto and Spanish Rice and Beans is available free on The Earth Diet website www.TheEarthDiet.org

Exercise: A 1 hour cardio and core workout at Big Al's Family Fitness with my friends Margo and Mike :) I love exercising with friends, the work outs are more enjoyable and we push each other - 2 minds combined are stronger than one ;)

61 days to go!!!
